Construction activities which were stopped due to Covid-19 have been got relief now. Resuming of construction activity in Non-Containment area is been allowed in Pune, with certain Conditions.
Govt. of Maharashtra has given permission for the completion of undergoing construction projects within the limit of the city, as it is a breather for many of the developers in Pune. With certain conditions, the construction activities can be resumed only in the area which is not into the containment zone. The area which falls into the containment zone has got no relaxation. District collector, Naval Kishor Ram has provided this information. As Pune is the 14 red district in the whole Maharashtra.
Developers who are allowed to resume the construction site in non-containment zones should provide food and accommodation for the laborers on site. Laborers' thermal screening should be done, twice a week, this is mandatory. Workers who are physically fit are only allowed to work on the construction site.
According to the collection, the norms of social distancing and hygiene factors should be taken care of on the construction sites. There should be a safe and friendly environment for workers while working.
All pre-monsoon works should be completed on the construction sites, in the non-containment area.
